​​Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the Sports Tourism Department with the City of Myrtle Beach. Volunteers play a vital role in our community. Opportunities exist for both individuals and organizations/groups. As a volunteer for these events, you will have the satisfaction of knowing that you created so many memories for the athletes and their families. 
Please note all volunteers for the City of Myrtle Beach who are 18+ are required to complete a background check.

We are currently looking for volunteers to help with the following events:
March 2025
14-15 Myrtle Beach Collegiate Challenge (College/Open TF)
20-21 Alan Connie Shamrock Invitational (College/Open TF)
April 2025
3-5 Beach Run Invitational (High School TF)
24-26 Conference Carolinas Championship (NCAA DII TF)

Most events are all-day events with many different positions available (see event job descriptions below). Please note that most of these positions are located outside and volunteers should be prepared for any type of weather. Most volunteer shifts will be scheduled for at least four hour increments and may be adjusted based on the final event schedule.
