Melissa Jefferson-Wooden - 2025 Triple World Championships Gold Medalist. the Fastest Woman in the World in 2025, First ever US woman to win the 100 (10.61 MR), 200m (21.68), and 4x100m Relay at the same World Championship.
T’Mars McCallum Jr. -'25 World Championship Gold Medalist 4x100m Relay, '25 Bronze Medalist USATF 100m,
Carolina Forest HS alum, personal bests 100m (9.83, #6 ’25 World list), 200m (19.73, #5 ’25 World List)
Twanisha “Tee Tee” Terry – '24 Olympic Champion, 3xWorld Champion, 2xNCAA Champion at 4x100m Relay, NCAA Champion 60m Indoor, 5th place 100m Paris Olympic Final, personal bests 60m 7.09, 100m 10.82, 200m 22.17
Tonea Marshall - 2025 Diamond League Finalist 6th place 100mH, NACAC U23 Gold Medalist at 100mHH, SEC Champion at 60mHH and 100mHH while at LSU, personal best this year 12.24 100mHH = 7th fastest all-time world list
Coach Jim Sprecher- Current Head XC Coach USC Aiken, at University of Lynchburg he coached the Hornets to 25 ODAC team championships, developed national champions in the DMR and 1,500m, produced 43 All-Americans and 128 National Qualifiers. Previously head coach at UNCW and Ball State.
Coach Chris Courson- Current Head TF/XC Coach Conway HS, Coached sprints, and hurdles at CCU, ECU and UNCW, School Record Holder UNCW 4X200mR, 4X400mR
Saturday October 18th (Field Events)
Ryan Minor – Threw Shot Put, Discus and Hammer at Coastal Carolina, won 2012 Big South Hammer Throw, All-State Shot Put and discus thrower at South Brunswick HS, worked with participants in SP, Discus.
Cami Stovall – Assistant Coach at University of Lynchburg, USATF LEVEL 3 Certified, prior to Lynchburg, Stovall coached 5 HS National Champions in the throw and a total of 24 All American finishes between USATF and Nike Outdoor Nationals worked with athletes in javelin.
Chris Stovall – Assistant Coach at University of Lynchburg, Coached athletes in jumps, sprints, hurdles and combined events at HS and collegiate level. Has produced a NCAA DIII All-American, ODAC Conference Champions and multiple HS State Champion athletes, worked with athletes in the jumps.
Isaiah Brothers- Graduate Assistant Coach at University of Lynchburg was an ODAC all-conference high jumper and triple jumper while an undergrad at Lynchburg, worked with athletes in the jumps.

The 2025 Track & Field Fall Development Series was brought to you by Myrtle Beach Sports. Our goals are to: Introduce youth to the sport of track & field; Provide current track & field athletes an out-of-season opportunity; Create awareness of opportunities provided by City of Myrtle Beach Recreation, the Myrtle Beach Track & Field Club and the Spring Break Meets.
WHEN: 9am Saturday October 4th Session #1 (Sprint/Hurdles), 9am Saturday October 18th Session #2 Field Events
WHERE: Doug Shaw Memorial Stadium (705 33rd Ave North, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577)
WHO: Youth ages 6-18, all experience levels welcome, no experience necessary.
COST: $15/Saturday or $25 for both
WHAT TO BRING: Personal water bottle, sun screen, athletic apparel, closed toe athletic/running shoes, event specific spikes if you have them (not required), and lots of energy.
WHAT TO EXPECT: Participants will be grouped by age and/or experience level. Groups will rotate through each of the event specific areas where they will be instructed by an experienced high school, college or club coach. Instruction will focus on introducing the sport, introducing the skills required, and the opportunity to practice the skills and receive feedback. Each Saturday will begin with a group warm-up and stretch and conclude with a group talk and cool-down. Each Saturday session will conclude between 12:00-12:30pm.
