Jim Sprecher Jr. - Director TF/XC U of Lynchburg, where his teams have won 18 Conference Championships, and athletes have earned 25 All-American honors, named 2023 DIII South Region Coach of the Year OTF.
Chris Courson - Head TF/XC Coach Conway High School, former assistant coach at Coastal Carolina University and East Carolina University, school record holder UNC Wilmington (4x200m, 4x400mR).

The 2024 Track & Field Fall Development Series is brought to you by Myrtle Beach Sports. Our goals are to: Introduce youth to the sport of track & field; Provide current track & field athletes an out-of-season opportunity; Create awareness of opportunities provided by City of Myrtle Beach Recreation, the Myrtle Beach Track & Field Club and the Spring Break Meets.
WHEN: 9am Saturday September 21st Session #1 (Sprint/Hurdles), 9am Saturday October 19th Session #2 Field Events: (High Jump, Long Jump, Triple Jump, Pole Vault, Shot Put, Discus, Javelin, Hammer)
WHERE: Doug Shaw Memorial Stadium (705 33rd Ave North, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577)
WHO: Youth ages 6-18, all experience levels welcome, no experience necessary. Note: Participation in Pole Vault portion of clinic on 10/19 is limited to ages 13-18.
COST: $15/Saturday or $25 for both
WHAT TO BRING: Personal water bottle, sun screen, athletic apparel, closed toe athletic/running shoes, event specific spikes if you have them (not required), and lots of energy.
WHAT TO EXPECT: Participants will be grouped by age and/or experience level. Groups will rotate through each of the event specific areas where they will be instructed by an experienced high school, college or club coach. Instruction will focus on introducing the sport, introducing the skills required, and the opportunity to practice the skills and receive feedback. Each Saturday will begin with a group warm-up and stretch and conclude with a group talk and cool-down. Each Saturday session will conclude between 12:00-12:30pm.
